Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar:
A man said, “O Allah’s Apostle! How is the prayer of the night?” He said, “Two Rakat followed by
two Rakat and so on, and when you apprehend the approaching dawn, offer one Raka as Witr.”
