Volume 9, Book 92, Number 467:
Narrated Jundab bin ‘Abdullah:
Allah’s Apostle said, “Recite (and study) the Qur’an as long as your hearts are in agreement as to its
meanings, but if you have differences as regards its meaning, stop reading it then.”
Volume 9, Book 92, Number 466:
Narrated Jundab bin ‘Abdullah:
Allah’s Apostle said, “Recite (and study) the Quran as long as you are in agreement as to its inter –
pretation and meanings, but when you have differences regarding its interpretation and meanings,
then you should stop reciting it (for the time being.) (See Hadith No 581, Vol. 6)
Volume 2, Book 21, Number 225:
Narrated Jundab bin ‘Abdullah:
Gabriel did not come to the Prophet (for some time) and so one of the Quraish women said, “His
Satan has deserted him.” So came the Divine Revelation: “By the forenoon And by the night When it is
still! Your Lord (O Muhammad) has neither Forsaken you Nor hated you.” (93.1-3)
