Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr:
“When the sun eclipsed in the life-time of Allah’s Apostle an announcement was made that a pray –
er was to be offered in congregation.”
Volume 1, Book 4, Number 164:
Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr:
The Prophet remained behind us on a journey. He joined us while we were performing ablution
for the ‘Asr prayer which was over-due and we were just passing wet hands over our feet (not wash –
ing them thoroughly) so he addressed us in a loud voice saying twice orthriae, “Save your heels from
the fire.”

replied, “To feed (the poor) and greet those whom you know and those whom you don’t know.”

Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr:
The Prophet said, “Whoever has the following four (characteristics) will be a pure hypocrite and
whoever has one of the following four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy un –
less and until he gives it up.
1. Whenever he is entrusted, he betrays.
2. Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie.
3. Whenever he makes a covenant, he proves treacherous.
4. Whenever he quarrels, he behaves in a very imprudent, evil and insulting manner.”

Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr:
The Prophet said, “A Muslim is the one who avoids harming Muslims with his tongue and hands.
And a Muhajir (emigrant) is the one who gives up (abandons) all what Allah has forbidden.”

replied, ‘To feed (the poor) and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not Know (See
