Sahih Muslim Hadith 7216 – The Deceased Is

[7216] 70 – (2870) Anas bin Mâlik said: "The Prophet of Allah said: 'When a person is placed in his grave and his companions turn to leave, he hears the sound of their footsteps. Then two angels come to him and sit him up, and say to him: 'What did you used to say about this man?' As for the believer, he says: 'I bear witness that he is the slave of Allah, and His Messenger.' Then it is said to him: 'Look at your place in the Fire; Allah has substituted it with a place in Paradise." The Prophet of Allah said: "He is shown them both." Paradise: Description, Delights etc. 263 4Wj tQ& Qatâdah said: "It was said to us that his grave is expanded seventy cubits for him, and it is filled with greenery until the Day they will be resurrected."
