[7037] 11 (…) Abfl At-Tufail said: "There was some dispute — – — between a man among the people of Al-'Aqabaht1] and Hudhaifah. Al-'Aqabah – what is mentioned here is not A1-'Aqabah located in Minâ, where the Muslims from Al-Madinah swore allegiance (Bay'ah) to the Prophet prior to the Hijrah; rather refers to A1-'Aqabah which was on the road to Tabük, and was a place where the hypocrites gathered to plot their betrayal against the Prophet 49 at Tabñk.
