[5826] 129 – ( … ) It was narrated [0A] that Ibn 'Umar said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah enjoin the killing of dogs. He said: 'Kill snakes and dogs, and kill the one that has two stripes and the short- tailed one, for they cause blindness and miscarriage." :J Az-Zuhrl said: "We thought that was because of their poison, and Allah knows best." Sâlim said: "Abdullâh bin 'Umar said: 'For a while I did not leave any snake that I saw but I killed :JU it. One day, while I was chasing the kind of snake that lives in houses, Zaid bin Al-Khattâb or Abü Lubãbah passed by me when I was chasing it. He said: 'Take it easy, 0 'Abdullâh.'
