[5476] 54 – ( … ) It was narrated ( … )—°t [oy] that Ibn 'Umar said: "The ft Messenger of Allah acquired a ring of silver which was on his hand, then it was on the hand of Abü Bakr, then it was on the hand of 'Umar, then it was on the hand of 'Uthmân until it fell from (his hand) into the well of ArIs, and its inscription said Muhammad Raslil Allah." Ibn Numair said: "Until it fell into a well," and he did not say, "from (his hand)."
