[50981 25 – ( … ) Abü 'Ubaid, the freed slave of Ibn Azhar, narrated that he attended 'EId with 'Umar bin Al-Khattâb. He said: "Then I prayed with 'Ali bin AbI Tâlib, and he led us in prayer before the Khutbah, then he addressed the people. He said: 'The Messenger of Allah forbade you to eat the meat of your sacrifices for more than three days, so do not eat it."
