Sahih Muslim Hadith 5032 – The Permissibility

[5032] 42 – (1944) Ash-Sha'bi heard Ibn 'Umar (say) that the Prophet had some of his Companions with him, among whom was Sa'd. Some mastigure meat was brought to them and one of the wives of the Prophet called out: "It is mastigure meat." The Messenger of Allah said: "Eat, for it is Ha/al, but it is not something that I eat."
