[4731] 22 – ( … ) It was narrated from Abü Al-MalIh that 'Ubaidullâh bin Ziyâd entered upon Ma'qil bin Yasâr when he was sick, and Ma'qil said to him: "I am going to tell you a IjadIth; were it not that I am about to die, I would not have narrated it to you. I heard the Messenger of Allah . say: 'There is no leader who has reached a position of authority over the Muslims, then he does not strive for their sake or act with sincerity towards them, but he will not enter Paradise with them."
