[4556] 33 – (1748) It was narrated that Mus'ab bin Sa'd said: My father took something from the Khums and brought it to the Prophet and said: Give me this, but he refused. Then Allah revealed (the words): "They ask you (0 Muhammad ) about the spoils of war. Say: The spoils are for Allah and the Messenger" [A -A nfâl 8:1].
