[4338] 58 – (997) It was narrated from Jâbir bin 'Abdullâh that a man among the Anâr declared that a slave of his would become free after he died, and he did not own any other wealth apart from the slave. News of that reached the Prophet and he said: "Who will buy him from me?" Nu'aim bin 'Abdullâh bought him for a price of eight hundred Dirham, and he gave it to him. 'Amr said: "I heard Jâbir bin 'Abdullâh say: 'He was a Coptic slave who died last year."
