[4308] 35 – ( … ) It was narrated that Abü Mas'fld Al-AnsârI said: "I was beating a slave of mine, and I heard a voice behind me (saying): 'You should realize, Abü Mas'fld, that Allah has more power over you than you have over him.' I turned around, and I saw the Messenger of Allah . I said: '0 Messenger of Allah, he is free for the Face of Allah.' He said: 'If you had not done that, the Fire would have scorched you,' or 'the Fire would have touched you."
