[3965] 4 – ( … ) It was narrated that 'Abdullâh bin 'Umar said: "When Khaibar was conquered, the Jews asked the Messenger of Allah to let them stay there on the basis that they would work in the fields and give him half of the fruit or crops that they yielded. The Messenger of Allah said: 'I will let you stay there for as long as we wish." Then he (the sub narrator) quoted a Ijadiij like that of Ibn Numair and Ibn Mushir from 'Ubaidullâh, and he added: "The produce would be divided into shares and the Messenger of Allah ç would take the ffhums."
