[3925] 96 – ( … ) Jábir bin 'Abdullâh said: "At the time of the Messenger of Allah we used to take land in return for one-third or one-quarter of that which grew along the water channels. The Messenger of Allah addressed us concerning that and said: 'Whoever has land, let him cultivate it. If he does not cultivate it, let him lend it to his brother. If he does not lend it to his brother, let him keep it."
