[3102] 279 – ( … ) Kuraib narrated that he asked Usâmah bin Zaid: "What did you do when you rode behind the Messenger of Allah on the night of 'Arafat?" He said: "We came to the pass where the people halt their camels for Maghrib, and the Messenger of Allah halted his camel and urinated"- and he did not say: "he passed water." "Then he called for water for Wuclâ', and he performed Wutâ', but not thoroughly. I said: '0 Messenger of Allah, the prayer.' He said: 'The prayer is still ahead of you.' Then he rode until we came to Al-Muzdalifah, and he prayed Maghrib. Then the people halted in their places, but they did not unload their camels until he prayed 'Ihâ'. Then they uloaded them." I said: "What did you do the next morning?" He said: "Al-Fadl bin 'Abbâs rode behind him, and I went on foot with those of the Quraish who went on ahead."
