[2675] 142 (1139) It was narrated that Ziyâd bin jubair said: "A man came to Ibn 'Umar [may Allah be pleased with them] and said: 'I vowed to fast on a day which coincides with the day of Al-Adha, orAl-Fitr.' Ibn 'Umar [may Allah be pleased with them] said: 'Allah has enjoined fulfillment of vows, but the Messenger of Allah forbade fasting on this day."
