[2447] 140 – (1062) It was tt- [ttV] narrated that 'Abdullâh said: "On the day of (the battle of) Hunain, the Messenger of Allah showed preference to some people in distributing (the spoils of war). He gave one hundred camels to Al-Aqra' bin Hâbis, and a similar amount to 'Uyaynah, and he gave to some prominent people among the 'Arabs, and he showed preference to them in giving on that day. A man said: 'By Allah, there is no justice in this division of the spoils of war, and it has not been done for the Face of Allah!' I said: 'By Allah, I am going to tell the Messenger of Allah .' So I went to him and told him what (that man) had said. His face changed until it was like blood, then he said: 'Who will be just if Allah and His Messenger are not just?' Then he said: 'May Allah have mercy on Müsâ, for he was troubled with more than this and he remained patient.' I said: 'I will not tell him of anything that people say after this."
