[2400] 106 – (1042) It was [t] narrated that Abü Hurairah said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'For one of you to go out and gather firewood on his back, then give it in charity and make himself independent of people thereby, is better than asking a man who may give to him or withhold from him. And the upper hand is better than the lower hand, and start with those who are under your care."
