It was narrated from Rib'i bin Hirash that he heard 'Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, delivering a Khutbah in which he said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Do not tell lies about me, for whoever tells lies about me will enter the Fire.'"
