[1633] 54 – (705) It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbâs said: "The Messenger of Allah joined Zuhr with 'Asr, and Maghrib with 'Ishâ', in Al-Madinah when there was no fear and no rain." According to the HadItj of Waki' he said: "I said to Ibn 'Abbâs: 'Why did he do that?' He said: 'So that his Ummah would not be subjected to hardship."
