Sahih Muslim Hadith 7370 – Ad-Dajjâl

[7370] 107 – (2934/2935) It was (ro/r)— *V [vrv] narrated that Rib'l bin Hirãsh said: "I went with 'Uqbah bin 'Amr Abü Mas'üd Al-Ansãri to Uudhaifah bin Al-Yamân. 'Uqbah said to him: 'Tell me what you jy iyJç heard from the Messenger of Allah about the Dajjâl.' He LJJJ :j Ni said: (The Prophet said:) 'The Dajjâl will emerge, and he will L iZa'jui have with him water and fire. As for that which the people will think r° L is water, it will be burning fire, and JLU 3m :JU as for that which the people will think is fire, it will be sweet, cool water. Whoever among you sees – that, let him plunge into that Tribulations & Portents Of The Hour 332 L.JI Jt which he thinks is fire, for it is sweet, cool water." 'Uqbah said: "I also heard it" – confirming what Hudhaifah said.
