[7019] 55 – ( … ) 'Abdur-Rahmân bin 'Abdullâh bin Ka'b bin Mâlik narrated that his paternal uncle, 'Ubaidullâh bin Ka'b, who was Ka'b's guide when he lost his sight, and who was the most knowledgeable of his people about the AhâdIth of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah , said: "I heard my father Ka'b bin Mâlik, who was one of the three whose repentance was accepted, say that he did not stay behind from accompanying the Messenger of Allah on any campaign that he went on, except for two campaigns…" and he quoted the IjadIth and said: "The Messenger of Allah set out on the campaign with many people, more than ten thousand, and there was no record of their names."
