[6899] 67 – (2717) It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbâs that the Messenger of Allah used to say: "Allâhumma laka aslamtu wa bika âmantu wa 'alaika tawakkaltu, wa ilaika anabtu, wa bika khâsamtu. Allâhumma innî a 'idhu bi'izzatika – lâ ilâha illa anta – an tudillanI, antal-hayyulladhI lâ yamz2tu, wal- jinnu wal-insu yamütân (0 Allah, to You have I submitted, in You have I believed, upon You I have relied, to You have I turned in repentance, with Your help have I fought my adversaries. 0 Allah, I seek refuge in Your glory – none has the right to be worshipped but You – from Your sending me astray, for You are the Ever- Living Who does not die, but jinn and men die)."
