[6370] 140 – (2479) It was ti. (V)t* [rv] narrated from Sâlim that Ibn 'Umar said: "During the lifetime – of the Messenger of Allah , if a -LIP man saw a dream he would tell it to the Messenger of Allah . I I1 : L J wished that I could see a dream and tell it to the Prophet .I was young and unmarried, and I used to sleep in the Masjid at the 'JL bi time of the Messenger of Allah -i L L Virtues Of The Companions c 344 JL1 ya . I saw myself in a dream, as if two angels took hold of me and brought me to the fire, and it was built like a well, and it had two poles like the poles of a well. In it were some people whom I recognized, and I started saying, 'I seek refuge with Allah from the Fire, I seek refuge with Allah from the Fire, I seek refuge with Allah from the Fire.' They were joined by another angel who said to me: 'Do not fear.' I told this to Hafsah, and Hafsah told it to the Messenger of Allah , and the Prophet said: 'What a good man 'Abdullâh is, if only he prayed at night." Sâlim said: "After that, 'Abdullâh only slept a little at night."
