[61191 134 – (2359) It was narrated that Anas bin Mâlik said: "The Messenger of Allah heard something about his Companions, and he delivered a Khutbah and said: 'Paradise and Hell were shown to me, and I have never seen good and evil as (I did) today. If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much." He said: "There was never a day harder for the Companions of the Messenger of Allah than that day. They covered their heads and wept. Then 'Umar stood up and said: 'We are pleased with Allah as our Lord, Islam as our religion, and Muhammad as our Prophet.' That man stood up and said: 'Who is my father?' He () said: 'Your father is so-and-so.' Then the Verse: '0 you who believe! Ask not about things which, if made plain to you, may cause you trouble.11' was revealed." Al-Mâ'idah 5:101.
