Sahih Muslim Hadith 6059 – The Prophet

[60591 87 – (…) It was narrated from 'Aishah that Al-Hârith bin Hishâm asked the Prophet : "How does the Revelation come to you?" He said: "Sometimes it comes like the ringing of a bell, and that is the hardest for me, but when it is over I have understood it. Sometimes an angel comes in the form of a man, and I understand what he says."
