Sahih Muslim Hadith 5648 – One Of The Duties

[5648] 3 – (2121) It was narrated from Abü Sa'eed Al-KhudrI that the Prophet said: "Beware of sitting in the streets." They said: "0 Messenger of Allah, we have no other choice but to sit there and engage in conversation there.' Messenger of Allah said: "If you must sit there, then give the street its rights." They said: "What are its rights?" He said; "Lowering the gaze, refraining from causing annoyance, returning greeting, enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil."
