[5520] (2107) I (Zaid) came to 'Aishah and said: "This man told me that the Prophet said: 'The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or images.' Did you hear the Messenger of Allah say that?" She said: "No, but I will tell you what I saw him do. I saw him go out on his campaign, and I took a blanket and hung it over the door. When he came back and saw the blanket, I saw displeasure in his face. He pulled it down and tore it or cut it, and said: 'Allah has not commanded us to clothe stones and clay." She said: "We cut it up and made two pillows with it, and I stuffed them with palm fibres, and he did not criticize me for that."
