Sahih Muslim Hadith 5406

[5406] 9 – ( … ) It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that 'Umar saw a man from the family of 'Utârid wearing a cloak of DIbâj or silk, and he said to the Messenger of Allah : 'Why don't you buy it?' He said: 'This is only worn by one who has no share in the Hereafter.' Then the Messenger of Allah was given a Ijullah of striped silk, and he sent it to me. I said: 'Have you sent it to me when I heard you say what you said about it?' He said: 'I only sent it to you so that you profit from it."
