[5404] 8 – ( … ) 'Abdullâh bin (. . .)-A [tI 'Umar said: "Umar bin Al- Khattâb found a Hullah of Istabraq being offered for sale in – i; the market, so he took it and brought it to the Messenger of Allah jij and said: '0 Messenger of Allah, buy this and adorn yourself with it for 'EId and for the delegations.' The Messenger of Allah said: 'This is only a garment for the one who has no share in the Hereafter.' As much time passed as Allah willed, then the Messenger of Allah sent to 'Umar a garment made of DIbâj. 'Umar brought it to the Messenger of Allah and said: '0 Messenger of Allah, you said: "This is only a garment for the one who has no share in the Hereafter," then you sent this to me?' The Messenger of Allah said to him: 'Sell it and meet your needs with it."
