Sahih Muslim Hadith 5233 – The Permissibility

[5233] 86 – (2006) It was narrated that Sahi bin Sa'd said: "Abü Usaid As-Sâ'idI invited the Messenger of Allah to his wedding, and his wife was serving them that day, and she was the bride." Sahi said: "Do you know what she gave the Messenger of Allah to drink? She steeped some dates for him the night before in a bowl made of stone, and when he had eaten she gave him that to drink."
