[4677] 131 – (1806) Salamah ('A)—' [tvv] bin Al-Akwa' said: "I went out before the first Adhân, and the much-camels of the Messenger of Allah were grazing at Dhu Qarad. A slave of 'Abdur- :JZ Rahmân bin 'Awf met me and said: 'The much-camels of the Messenger of Allah have been E 'J stolen.' I said: 'Who took them?' :J He said: 'Ghatafân.' So I shouted three times: 'Ya Sabâhâh! (a cry of alarm),' and I made the whole • E4 :JU city between the two lava plains hear me. Then I ran off in :J :J :J pursuit until I caught up with them in Dhu Qarad, and they were watering (the animals). Then the Prophet and the people came, and I said: '0 Prophet of Allah, I kept the people away from the j :J ) water when they were thirsty. Send someone after them now.' !4ui t :LL JI He () said: '0 son of Al- Akwa', you have taken (what you have taken); be kind.' Then we came back, and the Messenger of Mâh seated me behind him on his she-camel, until we entered Al-Madinah."
