[4625] 87 – (1781) It was narrated that 'Abdullâh said: The Prophet entered Makkah, and around the Ka'bah there were three hundred and sixty idols. He started poking them with a stick that was in his hand, saying: "Truth (i.e. Islamic Monotheism or this Qur'ân or Jihâd against polytheists) has come and Bâtil (falsehood, i.e. Satan or polytheism) has vanished. Surely, Bâtil is ever bound to vanish" [Al-Isrâ' 17:81] and "Al- Haqq (the truth, i.e. the Qur'ân and Allah's Revelation) has come, and Al-Bâtil [falsehood – Iblees (Satan)] can neither create anything nor resurrect (anything)" [Saba' 34:49].
