[4458] 39 – ( … ) It was narrated that 'Ali said: "I did not carry out any Ijadd punishment on a person who died as a result, but I did not mind, except in the case of one who had drunk wine, because if he died I would pay the Diyah, because the Messenger of Allah did not specify any number."
