Sahih Muslim Hadith 4348 – Qasâmah (Oaths)

[4348] 5 – (…) It was narrated from Sahl bin AbI Hathmah A]- AnsârI that some of them went to Ihaibar, where they parted, and they found one of their number slain. He quoted the HadIth (a HadIth similar to no. 4346), in which he said: "The Messenger of Allah did not want his blood to have been shed in vain, so he paid one hundred camels from the Zakâh as blood money."
