[2778] 221 – ( … ) It was narrated (…)-'fl [rvvA] that Ubayy bin Ka'b [may Allah be pleased with them] said ; concerning Lailat A1-Qadr: "By Allah, I know it" – (one of the J L- : narrators) Shu'bah said: "To the best of my knowledge" – "it is the night which the Messenger of Allah commanded us to spend in prayer, it is the night of the twenty-seventh." hu'bah was uncertain about this phrase: "It is the night which the Messenger of Allah commanded us (to spend in prayer)." He said: "A friend of mine narrated it to me from him."
