[2739] 189 – ( … ) It was narrated that 'Abdullâh bin 'Amr [may – Allah be pleased with them] said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'The dearest of fasting to Allah is the fast of DâwiId and the dearest of prayer to Allah is the prayer of Dâwfid, – -. He used to sleep for half the night, get up and pray for one third of it, and sleep for one sixth of it, and he used to fast one day and not the next."
