[27131 168 – ( … ) It was narrated that Abü Sa'eed Al-IthudrI [may Allah be pleased with them] said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah it say: 'Whoever fasts for one day in the cause of Allah, Allah will remove his face (the distance of) seventy autumns' from the Fire." Chapter 33. It Is Permissible To Observe A Voluntary Fast With An Intention Formed During The Day Before The Sun Reaches Its Zenith, And It Is Permissible For One Who Is Observing A Voluntary Fast To Break His Fast With No Excuse, Although It Is Better For Him To Complete It
