[2571] 60 – (…) It was narrated that Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allah A performed Wiâ1 during the beginning of Ramadân, and some of the Muslims performed Wiâl. News of that reached him and he said: 'If the month is lengthened for us, we will fast continuously, so that those who go to extremes will give up their extreme ways. You are not like me' – or 'I am not like you' – 'I am continually fed and given to drink by my Lord."
