[1691] 99 – (727) It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbâs said: "The Messenger of Allah ç used to recite in the two Rak'ah of Fajr – in the first Rak'ah: Say: "We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us … ",131 the verse which is in Al- Baqarah. And in the second: …We believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims".[4]
