[822] 114 – (369) It was narrated from 'Umair, the freed slave of Ibn 'Abbâs, that he heard him say: "Abdur-Rabmân bin Yasâr, the freed slave of Maimünah, the wife of the Prophet ;, and I came to Abü Al-Jahm bin A1-Hârith bin As- Simmah Al-AnsârI. Abü Al-Jahm said: 'The Messenger of Allah came from the direction of Bi'r Jamal and was met by a man who greeted him with Salâm. The Messenger of Allah did not return the greeting [to him] until he went to a wall, and wiped his face and hands, then he returned the greeting."
