[8061 100 – (363) It was [A'1 narrated that Ibn 'Abbâs said: "A sheep was given in charity to a freed slave woman of Maimünah, but it died. The Messenger of Allah passed by it and said: 'Why don't you take its skin and tan it, and make use of it?' They said: 'It is dead, 0 Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'It is only unlawful to eat it (the dead)."
