[6091 59 – (264) It was narrated from Abü Ayyüb that the Prophet said: "When you go to relieve yourselves, do not face towards the Qiblah nor turn your backs towards it, whether you are urinating or defecating; rather face towards the east or west." Abü Ayyüb said: "We arrived in Ash-Shârn and we found latrines that had been built facing towards the Qiblah. So we turn our faces away and ask Allah for forgiveness."
