[383] ( … ) It was narrated from Juwairiyah from Mâlik, from Az- ZuhrI that Sa'eed bin Al- Müsâyyab and Abü 'Ubaid informed him, from Abü Hurairah, from Allah's Messenger ç, similar to the narration of Yünus from Az-ZuhrI (no. 382), and in the narration of Mâlik it says: "But to be stronger in Faith." Then he recited this Verse, until its completion. Al-Baqarah 2:260. Meaning, the offer of freedom without insisting on having his innocence declared.
