[259] 143 – (87) 'Abdur- Rahmân bin AbI Bakrah narrated that his father said: "We were with the Messenger of Allah and he said: 'Shall I not tell you of the worst of major sins?' – (and the Prophet repeated it) three times – 'Associating others with Allah, disobeying one's parents, and bearing false witness – or false speech.' The Messenger of Allah was lying down, then he sat up and kept repeating it until we said: 'Would that he might fall silent."
